Product overview

What is 140.6?

140.6 is a local-first triathlon training companion for iPhone. It connects planned Swim, Bike, Run, Strength, and Rest sessions with completed activity evidence, fuel, recovery context, and progress. The app is designed to keep those records understandable and separate while helping an athlete review the next decision in context.

How does 140.6 fit into triathlon training?

140.6 organizes the training picture into five connected areas: Plan, Log, Fuel, Recovery, and Stats. Plan shows prescribed work. Log records what happened. Fuel captures nutrition inputs. Recovery adds body-response context. Stats summarizes history and progress using the evidence that is actually available.

These areas are connected without being collapsed into one score. Planned work remains different from observed performance, and missing measurements remain missing. The homepage shows the product system and links to the current App Store download.

Common mistakes when choosing a training companion

140.6 states those boundaries directly because a useful system has to show what it knows, what it estimates, and what is still unresolved.

Why do people struggle to keep training in context?

Training information often lives across a calendar, activity tracker, nutrition notes, recovery check-ins, and memory. When those sources are viewed separately, the next session can look reasonable even when the surrounding evidence has changed. A connected view helps an athlete review context without pretending that every signal is complete or comparable.

For the processing boundaries behind that approach, see training data and AI and the privacy policy. The iPhone app is available on the App Store.
